Monasteries or convents in Syria have had to develop monastic craftsmanship throughout the ages to meet their needs and help the poorest people in the surrounding area who often come to find refuge in these places of peace and tranquility. The war has amplified the phenomenon with the increase in precariousness and distress of many families. This is why we have chosen to offer candles made in these convents in order to bring them new income and allow them to continue their charitable works.
The candles are handcrafted and will find their place in a small family oratory or in a chapel. They will allow you to have a thought in your prayers for persecuted Eastern Christians.
